Renee is an actress, writer, and fitness enthusiast born and raised in Washington, DC. Her passion for the arts began with her childhood reenactments of the sitcom Moesha. Diving into the arts through summer workshops and traveling musical revues, she began her career as an actor at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts. There she learned of the possibility of the arts a a means for social change, and built a foundation for her craft.
As an actor she has toured with the stage play Coyote Dreams as Anna Murray
(NYC/Atlanta), performed internationally in the devised piece Red Shoes (South Africa), and worked under actor/director Del Roy Lindo in the play Oo-Bla-Dee (NYC). As a writer her first original play Sandy's Rain premeired this year at the Venus Theatre Festival and as a fitness enthusiast, she's figuring out a way to make jogging and oreos work. A recent graduate of NYU Tisch and the Atlantic Acting School, Renee is currently working on her writing but you can catch her in the upcoming web series Let It All Change (BiUsTv).
